Sony Paris Game Week 2015 Recap: Big Announcements, New Trailers & More
During Sony's recent Paris Games Week, fans were treated with big announcements as well as new trailers for their upcoming game launches.
According to a report from IGN, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" made the headlines after its new trailer was launched featuring the four main characters. Hans Solo, Princess Leia, Emperor Palpatine and Boba Fett all fought in their own hero units. Alongside the trailer is the announcement of the upcoming Darth Vader-themed PlayStation 4 console. The exclusively designed console will also be available when the "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be released.
Bandai Namco, on the other hand, has officially announced that "Tekken 7" will be exclusively available for PlayStation 4 and Play Station VR.The imminent release of the well-loved fight game on PlayStation4 was announced after the video game's arcade version.
Meanwhile, "Street Fighter V" was also announced with its new additional character, who is none other than the Yoga Master, Dhalsim. Dhalsim comes with new tricks and a new bearded look. "Street Fighter V" will be released on Feb. 16, 2016. "Battleborn" from Gearbox was also included in the event's series of announcements as well as its beta version. However, the specific release date for the beta versions were not announced. But considering the game's launching on Feb.9, 2016, per IGN, it may be safe to say that the version will be soon.
"No Man's Sky" is getting a new version with a brand new narration on its trailer. It also featured how to fight a Terrestrial Walker, and the full trailer concluded by showing the path where players will be able to explore the outer space.
Not less than 20 games were announced during Sony's Paris Games Week, all of which delivered their own new trailer prior to their launching. The video trailers were nothing but the culmination of different developers' hard work and dedicated time. Some of the featured trailers include "Tekken 7," a fight game that originated from being an arcade game, the much-anticipated "Star Wars: Battlefront" game and "Call of Duty: Black Ops III."
