On Saturday, popular chain Chipotle will be offering food lovers a chance to get their popular burritos for just $3, as part of their annual Boorito fundraiser for Halloween.

According to FoodBeast, the chain will be selling burritos, salads, tacos and bowls at very affordable prices to anyone who comes to the chain dressed in their Halloween costumes between 5 p.m. and closing time. As in past years, the money raised will help support the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.

While costumes have always been the requirement, this year there is a slight change to the rules of the event. Those wishing to get their favorite Chipotle meals at a bargain will not only need to wear costumes, but must also make sure that their costume features an "unnecessary" item.

The fast food chain, known for its Mexican-inspired dishes, made the announcement in a Business Wire press release in early October.

"We've always focused on sourcing the highest quality ingredients, and we are challenging our customers to learn about the unnecessary ingredients used in typical fast food by adding something 'unnecessary' to their costume," said Mark Crumpacker, chief creative and development officer. "In exchange for adding an unnecessary item to their costume, we'll donate $1 from their purchase to the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation to help in its efforts to create a better food future."

The Chipotle Cultivate Foundation provides resources and helps promotes good stewardship for farmers, promotes regenerative agriculture practices, helps fund culinary education, and generally supports healthy eating lifestyles.

So far, Chipotle customers who have participated in the Boorito fundraiser have helped raised more than $4 million for the cause.
