Microsoft subtly released a new Windows version for Skype, where the said VoiP displayed a rather intriguing yet interesting high-resolution display.

According to a report from Windows Central, despite Microsoft not releasing an official statement about the said update, users were able to notice the difference between the new version of Skype for Windows and the old one. The new version was tagged as Skype version 7.11.80.102.

Using a 4K monitor, the difference was absolutely impressive. The text are clearer and the whole concept brings a better view of the said app. Microsoft's Surface Line also received the same results with clear and better view of contacts.

Until recently, Skype has remained as one of the few useful applications that have not received tremendous updates. But recently, it has been integrated to fit in monitors that stunningly boost resolutions of up to 1080p.

According to TechnoBuffalo, Windows Central noticed that the new updated version has improved tremendously. In the past, even the Retina display of Skype has been poor, text- and image-wise. As for Windows' recnt Office updates, they include the Office Offline extension that is currently available for users on Google Chrome. Once installed, you'll be able to take advantage of its updates on OneDrive, Sway, OneNote, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

In order to make their customer's feedback count, Microsoft's corporate vice president Kirk Koenigsbauer announced that the company has made some necessary actions in order to see their customer's feedback through a navigation pane.

Koenigsbauer also mentioned the recent updates they made on Excel online, where they integrated a better formatting option. For the PowerPoint online, Microsoft fixed some of its features to make it more adaptable for any presentation.
