The Google Play Store wants you to discover one more interesting app, and it comes by the name "Who's Down."

According to a report from TechTimes, the app will enable you to save your time waiting for friends to be online and talk to them. It lets you see who's available to hang out without actually waiting for a response. This type of app will instantly enable you to find friends, who you actually want to talk to, and it's easy to use. A friend simply needs to activate the app and make himself or herself available to hang out before you can instantly find them.

Who's Down is available for both Android and iOS users. The current version of the Who's Down app needs an invite in order to use it. According to the Google Play Store, in case you haven't received any invites, you can request one from the app itself. The toggling feature of the app will make you instantly become available to friends. If you toggle the screen on, your friends will be able to see and invite you for some activities or a chat.

If you're thinking of Who's Down as a copy of Apple's Find my Friends, according to the GreenBot, there's more to it than a tracking app. Find my Friends simply lets you know your friends and family members' whereabouts. However, Who's Down not only allows the user to know who's online, but it significantly lets you get in touch with them.

Who's Down is free and only requires the aforementioned invites needed in order to use the said app. TechCrunch was able to download and try Who's Down for iOS, and their initial comment is its "Google"-themed layout.

According to the news outlet, the whole profile concept of Who's Down bore the trademark color of Google, which is blue and white. Its simple design makes it more interesting to use. Once you decide to make yourself available online, the app will ask you to enter what interests you and will be used as your status. Technically, by using what you've entered as status, the app narrows down your circle of friends who displays similar interest as yours.

The chatroom will cater to the app's conversations, where chat history will be automatically erased after 24 hours. It's definitely the app for impromptu invitations, but with such a discreet start, time will tell whether the app will completely soar up or fail.
