Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom Divorce Update: KK Finally Opens Up About Split; 'It's Really Hard'
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's marriage might be over but Khloe has shared that she's still transitioning since filing for divorce.
According to a radio interview with Australia's 2Day FM "Breakfast With the Stars," on Tuesday, the 29-year-old Kardashian who filed for divorce after four years of marriage: "It's definitely not anything I'm through," the reality star said: "I'm going through it, but I'm not through it," reports US Magazine.
What makes going through the healing process harder is the fact that she's had to watch herself on her family's hit reality show "Keeping up with the Kardashians."
"It's really hard to watch yourself on TV. It's definitely different in that the world has to watch, too," Kardashian shares. "It's definitely not the easiest thing to do, but it's what my life is."
Calling it Quits
The pair separated after Odom's drug problems and extramarital affairs came to light. IB Times reveals that Odom has disclosed during a press conference that he loves his wife and doesn't want the divorce.
"I love my wife," Lamar said, writes IB Times. "She'll always be my wife, no matter what."
The basketball star continues on to say, "Those were some of the best years of my life. Being married, and being married to a woman I decided to marry was - besides having children - the most important thing in my life."
According to Mirror UK, Lamar is back from playing basketball for Baskonia due to an injury that that ended his season early and has expressed his determination to see his wife and get her back.
Leaning on Family
As she goes through the emotional pain of ending a marriage, Kardashian told co-hosts Mel B, Sophie Monk, Jules Lund and Merrick Watts that throughout the ordeal, she's thankful for her friends and family members who have kept her grounded says the Daily Mail. She admits it's pretty easy to take one's self too seriously and believe the hype.
Citing that she's had the same friends for 15-years, "I think also just by having each other, as soon as one of us gets a big head, we shoot the other one down. That's the beauty about having brothers and sisters."
