Miami police descended on the palatial estate of rap star Lil Wayne on Tuesday, intent on seizing valuables in order to satisfy a $2 million judgement recently filed against him.

TMZ reports the hip-hop icon owes at least that amount to Signature Group, a private jet leasing company whose service he once frequently relied on. As of July 2014, company officials claimed the Young Money Entertainment honcho owed more than $1 million for unpaid services, which has since increased to $1.8 million. In addition, the judgement also stipulated that the rapper owes the company some $200,000 in legal fees.

Miami Dade County police swooped in on the property around midday armed with a court order that allowed deputies to "break the locks of the house and doors if necessary" to gain entry. Wayne was said to be in LA at the time of the raid, and on Monday night he was spied at the Ace of Diamonds strip club.

The raid came just hours after Weezy announced the pending release of his new mixtape "No Ceilings 2," which is scheduled for sometime around Thanksgiving.

It has been a tough and trying year so far for the raunchy rapper. Earlier in 2015, he publicly battled label partner and onetime mentor Birdman in an ongoing contract dispute, which culminated in an alleged murder plot against him orchestrated by Birdman and Young Thug.

More recently, Wayne split from yearlong girlfriend Christina Milian, with both citing busy and conflicting work schedules as a primary issue.

Milian told ET Online she still loves the rapper and hinted she still holds out hope that they may one day be able to piece things back together.

"He and I are good," she said. "I know a lot of people have been asking, but we're talking and we're fine."
