Selena Gomez is rumored to be "giddy" over Justin Bieber's recent admission that he still loves her and is "never going to stop loving her." 

Even though the two have been apart for some time, Bieber recently told Access Hollywood his feelings for the "Come Get It" singer have never wavered.

"At first Selena was a bit surprised that Justin was so open about his feelings for her in public," said a source. "The fact that he's so ok with letting the world know how he feels about her makes her really happy and kind of giddy. She says she finds the whole thing very flattering."

So much so, reports are she texted her ex a "thumbs up" message and several "winky face emojis."

Beyond admitting Gomez was his first love, the 21-year-old Bieber hinted he hopes they can someday find their way back to each another.

Even after their latest split, both have continued to show their affinity for one another. When Bieber suffered a recent live, onstage meltdown during a performance, Gomez was among the first to start placing calls to check on his well-being.

And when Gomez recently went through chemotherapy for lupus, it was Bieber whom she credits with helping her get through the tough times by reminding her no matter what she will always be the most beautiful girl to him.

"I'm never going to stop loving her," he said.

"I'm never going to stop checking in on her. I don't think if you end a relationship, you should end that, unless it was super toxic and you guys were hurting each other physically or mentally. We always respected each other and we still respect each other."
