In yet another stunning demand from the Republican Party, the Iowa Republican Party blocked access and denied media credentials for "The Daily Show" to attend their event.

According to The Huffington Post, that move was a major mess-up for the party, who cited concerns that were a bit juvenile in nature.

The event, which was called the "Growth and Opportunity Party," was attended by major republican candidates for President. But the state GOP party denied access to "The Daily Show," citing that they were afraid "they were going to make fun of Iowa."

Of course "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah could not let that slip under the comedy radar when he featured the statement on his show backed by scores of hilarious mocking dialogue, which he closed with, "As far as I'm concerned, the Iowa GOP can suck its own caucus."

But the show did not stop there with Iowa Republicans. He later featured Jordan Klepper "live" on location from the event behind what appeared to be a state wall designed to keep "The Daily Show" out. Of course the location was a fake location, but it nevertheless mirrored many of the party's talking points concerning building a wall to keep immigrants out.

Of course they poked fun at the state's GOP party with several references about "not making jokes," but inadvertently featuring some of their own rhetoric against them in the process.

But, of course, they were not done with Iowa's GOP there either. "The Daily Show" also did a full segment on Iowa's GOP, and the national GOP party for that matter, attempting to "babyproof" their future debates after the whole CNBC debacle where they claimed they were made to look ridiculous by the network. That includes a list of demands sent to the RNC from the individual campaigns.
