The war between Donald Trump and Latino groups is heating up now with his forthcoming appearance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this week. An advocacy group for Latinos has raised the stakes recently, offering a $5,000 cash reward to anyone in the audience that stands up and calls the Republican presidential candidate a racist during the show.

According to The Hill, prominent Latino advocacy group Deport Racism PAC has been unsuccessful with their efforts, among many other groups, to convince NBC and "Saturday Night Live" to cancel Trump's appearance on their show. Many say giving Trump the honor of hosting endorses his views and comments on immigrants.

But now, the group is willing to pay $5,000 cash to anyone who stands up during the live show and calls Trump a racist.

Santiago Cejudo, an organizer for the Deport Racism PAC, made a statement on Wednesday about the decree.

"NBC's refusal to drop Trump has put us in the position of dropping $5,000 of cold hard cash to anyone who will yell out, 'Trump is a racist,' during the live broadcast of 'Saturday Night Live,'" Cejudo said.

"We're hoping the $5,000 will help people on set or in the studio audience find the bravery to speak out loudly and help focus the national conversation on that we need to deport racism, not people."

Trump's invitation to host "SNL" this week has sparked outrage across the country from various Latino groups as well as others.

One other issue NBC will likely have to deal with is the FCC and FEC Equal Time law, which basically states an amount of time on a network or broadcasting company given to one candidate must also be offered to the opponents.

But according to PolitiFact, that may not apply in this situation, given it is not a platform for him to use as a bully pulpit to further his political agenda. The rules on this law have a gray area that could be hard to interpret.
