ABC 'Dancing With the Stars' 2014 Lineup and DWTS Cast: Which '80s Sitcom Star Dumped Candace Cameron Bure for Danica McKellar and Which Dance Team Used to Date?
The latest Dancing With the Stars lineup will eventually be switching dance partners. Some of the celebrities, however, are already used to swapping romantic partners.
One of the most fun rivalries this season comes with '90s television stars Candace Cameron Bure, who played DJ Tanner on Full House, and Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. Apparently this happy rivalry dates to the good old days when they both found themselves interested in another young television star, Jeremy Miller, who played Ben Seaver on Growing Pains.
"I knew that Candace's was Jeremy's ex-girlfriend," McKellar revealed to E! News after this week's episode. "I mean, look, we were 13. Nothing was happening, but like, I didn't know that he broke up with her for me. Like, I really didn't know that until last week!"
Don't worry Full House fans, Bure got enough life lessons from her show to not let Miller break her heart.
"...a love triangle when we were like 11..." Bure said. "I was not allowed to date until I was 16, so you can imagine it was a really big love triangle."
Bure, 37, and McKellar, 39, have reportedly been pals for a long time, but McKellar still has an idea for how to resolve this teenage love triangle.
"Mudwrestling...that's one of the new twists in the show," she said. "I'm kidding!"
Bure and McKellar aren't the only ones on the Dancing WIth the Stars cast who share romantic history. James Maslow, Big Time Rush star, and his partner Peta Murgatroyd previously went on "several" dates, according to E! News.
Despite being open about their past, Maslow thinks the old romance will not be ignored, and questions will keep coming.
"I want to say no, but I'm pretty sure they're going to keep asking the same questions," he said.
Murgatroyd, on the other hand, has a different opinion.
"I don't think they will," she said. "That was a pretty strong package, that was very bold, blunt, in your face...they can't do one of those again!"
