After being boycotted to appear in the ABC show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in October, it appears that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is ahead of another dumping as protests continue to lobby cancellation of the business mogul's hosting stint at "Saturday Night Live."

Should Trump get ahead of the protesters, this will be the second time that the former reality TV host will present in the late night show. Trump hosted in 2004 while he was the resident host for his reality game show, "The Apprentice."

But as the protesters grow and thicken, this venture of Trump is getting nowhere near reality.

According to Los Angeles Times, Trump may not reprise in the show as a group of Latino artists, politicians and academes have signed a petition forcing NBC to cancel his appearance because of the presidential bet's "hate speech" that have indicated nothing but "xenophobia, nsexism and political intolerance."

Many renowned individuals have signed the petition, including Oscar award-winning director Alejandro Gonzales Iñarritu, stars like Diego Luna and Demian Bichir, as well as author Junot Diaz.

With only 48 hours left to denounce the business mogul as the host, the protesters wasted no time as they flocked outside NBC's office and "Saturday Night Live" studios. The outcry, dubbed as "Dump Trump," was formed by rallyists that come from several Latino advocacy organizations in the likes of National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts and the National Council on La Raza.

However, there is still a chance for Trump to make it through his "SNL" redebut as CNN reports that the business magnate had a "unique and long-running relationship" with the show. The presidential hopeful has been a familiar character in the show for over 20 years as the cast members play as Trump. Even before Trump had ventured into politics, he has been a favorite of the show when it comes to portrayals.

Confident enough that he will triumph as the show's host, Trump even touted himself as a ratings machine for "SNL", adding that he is impassable when it comes to the ratings he could draw whenever he appears in a show.

During a phone interview with Fox and Friends, Forbes reports that the billionaire busted rumors that he will be dropped as the show's host on Nov. 7. "Lorne Michaels is a very smart guy. NBC are very smart people," he boasted. "If they want to do a show with a third of the ratings, they might do that."

Bad blood between the nominee and Latinos started when Trump said Mexicans and Latinos are "rapists" and they bring crime to the U.S. when he announced his presidency last June. While Trump and Latinos have been battling in a tug-of-war for the GOP bet's hosting gig, NBC is yet to give its official statement regarding the matter.
