Following his emergency surgery on Wednesday, "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah has returned with all new material to work with, especially in regards to the U.S. health-care system.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Noah had a quite a few jabs to throw at the American health care system, especially in terms of waiting to not die while filling out forms.

He said he knew of no better way to get the American experience than "by enjoying America's health-care system."

Noah detailed going into the emergency room full of pain when he clearly was about to either die or faint. The attendants there were having none of that because they needed him to fill out of forms, especially the forms that detail how he intends to pay for his medical care.

"I'm like, 'What more information do you need, other than the fact that I'm dying?'" Noah said, talking about how the attendant at the hospital was forceful with him in regards to getting his forms filled out while he was on the verge of fainting.

That of course led him to his next comical jab, which is where he was allowed to faint.

"[The nurse was] like, 'Sir, you can't faint here, sir. You need to go to triage.' [I'm like,] 'Are you telling me where I can and cannot faint?'" Noah said.

But when it came down to money, what the attendant really wanted to know was how he was going to pay for his care.

"She was like, 'I don't know -- how are you paying for this?'" Noah said. "I was like, 'Well, with my life, clearly. Because you're not helping me.'"

But the comedy wasn't all about the nurses. He also showed a fake hidden video piece where his correspondents were visiting him the hospital, all vying for his job at the anchor desk.
