Samsung is firing on all cylinders with their upcoming smartphones. Two new models were recently revealed with a leak on social media: the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 2016 editions.

According to a report from GSM Arena, the leak was posted on Twitter by user @sleaknow, although the original photos have already been removed from the account. The new images showed a metal frame body and glass backs that are likely Gorilla Glass such as many of the company's flagship handsets. The leak also showed that the sizes of the 2016 editions of both models are likely the same (or nearly identical) as their predecessors: the 4.5-inch Galaxy A3 and the 5-inch Galaxy A5.

No specific details have been released with the photos, but a report from Android Authority came up with GFXBench listings that revealed more about the two Samsung Galaxy devices.

The Galaxy A5 is set to be unleashed with a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution. Powered by the octa-core Cotex-A57/A53 Exynos 7 SoC, the handset impresses with 2GB of RAM, plus a 12-megapixel rear camera and five-megapixel front camera. It will also come with 11GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, the slightly lower-end Galaxy A3 will be released with a 4.7-inch screen with 720p resolution. It will feature the quad-core Cortex-A53 Exynos 7580 SoC under the hood and 1.5GB of RAM, but the camera setup and internal storage will be the same as the Galaxy A5.

News of the upcoming edition of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 comes as the pair's more premium siblings take over the market, particularly the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6.

Those who want to pick up a Galaxy handset might want to take advantage of the holiday season as the electronics giant offer a new promotion to encourage sales of the flagship handset line. According to a report from Time, Samsung is offering up to $350 worth of accessories and rebates for consumers who purchase a Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Galaxy Note 5.

The accessories bundle offered include the Swarovski Holiday Bundle and the Level On Holiday Bundle, both offering a battery pack and charging pad plus a Swarovski Crystal Cover for the former and a Level On headphones for the latter. Rebates are also included for buyers who activate Samsung Pay. Trading an iPhone for a Galaxy handset will also give new clients credits in Google Play.
