'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' Teresa Giudice News: Jim, Amber Marchese Blast Reality TV Star as They Leave Show
Teresa Giudice's departing "Real Housewives of New Jersey" castmates have no kind words for her as they leave the show.
Amber and Jim Marchese recently insisted they could care less about the Giudices' legal troubles. They said they only expressed concern in the past because they were instructed to do so by show executives.
"They asked her countless times to call Teresa about her criminal issues," Jim Marchese told Radar Online of his wife. "They wanted us to talk about it because they felt the viewing audience wouldn't understand it and because of my training, I could explain it. They would have [Amber] call, and us talk about it."
The Marcheses recently announced they would not be returning to the show, and Jim Marchese told Radar the show no longer "fit who we are as people, our lifestyle, and who we are as a family."
Jim Marchese's criticisms weren't restricted to just the Giudices. He added he believes show creator and Bravo network honcho Andy Cohen essentially endorsed the family's criminal behavior through his actions.
"Andy is clearly endorsing Tre's behavior as it ["RHONJ: Teresa Checks In"] was focused on Tre and the sympathetic issues surrounding her kids," he said of the spin-off reality show the Giudice family recently starred in, including Teresa Giudice by way of jailhouse phone calls with husband Joe Giudice and their four young children.
Marchese later added, "Not one scene was dedicated to the people she stole from, how their lives have been hurt or the children of families victimized by their crimes."
The Marcheses also insisted they were highly offended by filming for the upcoming season being delayed to accommodate Teresa Giudice and her family.
"It is BS that the entire cast, especially my wife, had their filming put on hold because Tre and Joe committed several felonies and [Teresa is] sitting in jail," he said.
Teresa Giudice remains behind bars, serving out the terms of her 15-month sentence on bank fraud-related charges. She is expected to be released around Christmas and has already signed on to rejoin "Real Housewives."
