The Blackberry 10 is getting a new WhatsApp update, and it is packed with new features that will likely give its users something to think about post "life after PRIV."

According to CrackBerry, despite the Blackberry Beta Zone having some issues lately, the WhatsApp application didn't take this as a warning sign and pushed through with its WhatsApp Beta Update for BlackBerry 10. Although there is nothing quite big on the new update, the WhatsApp Beta 2.12.353 for BlackBerry 10 includes the addition of some new sets of emoji and emoji picker categories.

The issue on media transfer has also been addressed by the WhatsApp Update 2.12.353. Apparently, closing the application also fails to complete current media file transfers, but the update has already fixed that.

The other updates and fixes included will help in enhancing some small tweaks and glitches on the WhatsApp beta Update for BlackBerry, but they will not be that obvious on the users. A BlackBerry user who wishes to try the Beta Update for BlackBerry will need to download first the Beta Zone app before they can search for WhatsApp and download it. NeuroGadget mentioned some of WhatsApp's recent updates, and they include the privacy feature of the app where users can now hide their history as well as their profile pictures. Earlier this year, the WhatsApp application launched its Voice Calling feature, which is something that its millions of user is currently enjoying now. The Voice Calling feature is, just like in Viber, hosted by data or Wi-Fi service that will allow the user to call a friend free of charge. WhatsApp currently runs on Android, BlackBerry 10, iOS and all Windows phone.

With BlackBerry recently integrating to the Android OS, WhatsApp Update 2.12.353 can be downloaded via a third-party provider, primarily because it is still in its beta version. By enabling Unknown Resources on your phone, you will be able to download the latest WhatsApp Update 2.12.353 beta version.
