Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has hit back at rumors of marriage troubles with his wife Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

The French restaurateur considered the stories absurd and ridiculous since he and his wife are still happily married. Despite speculations that the couple has no time for each other because of their busy schedules, Jean-Bernard said Cheryl is still his priority.

According to Mirror UK, Jean-Bernard slammed rumors of marriage troubles with Cheryl in a lengthy message posted on his Instagram page (via Mirror UK). The usually reserved man claimed there's no truth to speculations that the "X-Factor" judge has been having a hard time coping  in her married life without him by her side. Jean-Bernard revealed on his Instagram post that he has been busy travelling the world to find new locations for his business, which could explain why he hasn't been around with Cheryl lately.

"I normally don't read or comment... But the truth is that even when my dad died I put my life on the line for my wife. Yes I am working like everybody else to put food on the table but my priority is my wife as this is the last person that is family," he wrote on Instagram according to Mirror UK.

"This is just nonsense. What matters is family and my wife is my only one left so if she need me I am always going to be there. My wife Cheryl is my priority nothing else," Jean-Bernard added on his Instagram post, explaining that he had been in London for "a week." He also mentioned how he would always be there for Cheryl on the "X-Factor" just like before if his wife asks him to be.

Jean's lengthy Instagram post came after rumors that Cheryl is being put on the side lines when it comes to his business. The 35-year-old has reportedly been travelling in different parts of the world to focus on his restaurant business and has rarely been seen spending his time with his wife.

According to Mail Online, Jean-Bernard has been away on business trips in Italy, Dubai and France. He has reportedly also missed two "X-Factor" live shows. Their increasing time apart led to speculations that something is amiss in their 16-month marriage.

The last time that the couple was reportedly spotted together in public was during Ant and Dec's star-studded 40th birthday party sometime in October. In the recent weeks prior to Jean's Instagram post, Cheryl attended events without her husband.
