‘Blue Bloods’ Spoilers Season 6 Episode 9: Erin Gets a Hung Jury Case, Jamie and Eddie Pose as Seniors [Watch]
Nothing is quite as good as watching "Blue Bloods" take on a few comical angles here and there -- such will be the case in the next episode with two different storylines that will please their fans.
Episode 9, titled "Hold Outs," will air on broadcast network CBS this Friday, Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.
The suspense and mystery that was left over from the previous episode will make way for a little comedy and some good old fashioned Reagan style justice.
According to Spoilers Guide, fitting in with the district attorney's office is as easy "hung jury, now you try." That will be the case when ADA Erin Reagan has to take over a case that got nowhere for both the prosecution and the defense. Now Erin must take a stab at what ADA Kelly Blake (Diane Neal) couldn't close and find some way to get a unanimous verdict out of jury that could already hold prejudice on the case.
But there will also be a major hurdle to get over for the case when a witness turns up missing. She will have to enlist DA investigator Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa) to help her navigate through the waters and find the witness.
The episode will also take a funny angle when Jamie and Eddie have to go undercover. Their assignment is to blend in as senior citizens to help flush out a neighborhood bully gang that have been terrorizing the elderly.
Fans got to see in the last episode that some immediate closure came in the serial killer case for Danny and Maria, but that closure will likely be short lived. The killer appeared to be blown up in a boat, but the forensics team could find no evidence of his body in the smoldering mess. Look for that storyline later on this season, possibly closer to the finale.
