There were many aspects to the last episode of "The Walking Dead" that posed more questions than answers. Even the slim notion of Glenn still being alive was thrown in at the end of the episode.

According to Vulture, the episode started out with the successful mission of Daryl, Abraham and Sasha leading the Walker herd about 20 miles away from Alexandria. But in their glory and on their way back home, they encountered a new mess.

Suffice it to say that when the main characters of the show make a left to go home, at any given moment, the main threat may be over but a new one is on the horizon. Such was the case last night when the trio accomplished their mission and were about to parade their way through the vast countryside to the safe zone.

They were ambushed by a group of people with gunfire, which none of the bullets hit them. But still, it was enough to cause Daryl to wipe out his bike and put Sasha and Abraham on the run for safety.

So the episode got split with the two different sides of the trio's story. Daryl got separated from them and spent a good part of the hour with the bigger storyline.

The attack came from a rag tag group that is some way are trying to carve their own niche in this world. But they certainly didn't appear to be the Wolves, so they are likely to be a new group that they will eventually have to deal with.

Daryl finds three other people who are attack survivors and, against his better judgment, decides to trust them. He even invites them back to Alexandria with him, which they respond by stealing his bike and crossbow at gunpoint.

Abraham seems to be loosing his grip on reality and becomes unstable. But in the end, he warms up to Sasha and tries to engage her with a little romance, which she doesn't quite seem interested in.

Daryl eventually locates a treasure truck with gas and guns. He tracks down Abe and Sasha and as they were about to depart, they hear an unidentified plea for help come out over the walkie-talkie.

Could that mean Glenn is still alive or this just another tease the producers are throwing out to fans?
