Mortal Kombat X News: More Character Skins Coming, DLC Characters Still Unknown
Mortal Kombat X will be getting at least four new additional characters, but their identities are unknown. For now, the only confirmed updates coming to the game are character skins.
Mortal Kombat's creator Ed Boon responded to a tweet asking if there would be any new character skins for newer characters, saying there would be new skins which would be coming soon.
Takeda and D'vorah are not the only characters that fans want new skins for. Fans have asked for new costumes for characters like Sonya, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs and Cassie Cage, Venture Capital Post reports. PC players of Mortal Kombat X have created additional skins for characters in the game as in-game modifications, or mods.
Goro and Noob Saibot were altered by PC players to represent their classic costumes from the early 90s. Goro's classic costume from the first Mortal Kombat was added into the game. Goro looks just like he did in the 1992 game with the white shin guards, red belt and yin yang design on his costume.
Noob Saibot has been altered to look just like he did in Mortal Kombat II. To do this, players used the character model of Sub-Zero and changed the coloring to black to make it look like Noob Saibot's character from Mortal Kombat II.
If Mortal Kombat X releases new fighter skins for players, it would make players happy while they wait for the big release of more downloadable content through the Kombat Pack 2. In the Kombat Pack 2, at least four new characters are expected. Boon has already confirmed a second DLC pack after the success of the first Kombat Pack.
