NFL Week 11 Schedule & Predictions 2015: 5 Teams Who Must Win This Week's Games
Week 11 of the 2015-16 NFL season is almost here after an incredibly exciting Week 10. The playoffs are inching closer and closer as we head into the final stretch of the season. A handful of teams face must win games this upcoming week for numerous reasons.
Here are five teams who must win Week 11 games.
1. Denver Broncos
After a promising 7-0 start, the sky appears to be falling in Denver. Or is that just snow? The Broncos have now dropped two games in a row and their starting quarterback is out with an injury. Peyton Manning is struggling to find his groove, and he will not play against the Chicago Bears. At first glance this would look like an easy game, but don't sleep on the Bears. Jay Cutler's squad has won two in a row and four of their last six games. All of a sudden this match doesn't look so easy for the Broncos. The Broncos have to win this game and stop the bleeding if they want to compete for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
2. Seattle Seahawks
What happened to the Seattle Seahawks? They are routinely blowing leads in the fourth quarter, and at home nonetheless. If the correct call was made against the Detroit Lions in Week 4 in the end zone, the Seahawks could very well be 3-6. The Seahawks aren't playing great at home like we're used to seeing and Russell Wilson is getting sacked at an alarming rate. The NFC West race is pretty much over because the Arizona Cardinals are playing terrific football. Still, the 4-5 Seahawks can get a wild card spot. They should be able to take care of business against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend.
3. Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders were 4-3, but back-to-back losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings have the silver and black at 4-5. It's time to get rolling again in this AFC wild card race. The Raiders play their next two games on the road, against the Lions and Tennessee Titans. A loss this week would pretty much end their season at 4-6. The Raiders haven't made the playoffs since the 2002 season when they made it to the Super Bowl. The Riders also have to be careful because the Kansas City Chiefs are currently on a three game winning streak.
4. Dallas Cowboys
It feels like the Dallas Cowboys are featured on here every week. Since Tony Romo went down the Cowboys haven't won a single game. Normally a 2-7 team would be completely out of it, but the NFC East has been terrible this season. No team in the NFC East even has a winning record, and Romo is set to return against the Miami Dolphins. Greg Hardy has helped the Cowboys defense improve dramatically, and it's time for the offense to show up. If the Cowboys win this game, and the other divisional teams lose, this could get very interesting. The Cowboys will need a lot of luck to make the playoffs.
5. New York Jets
It was a tough loss against the Buffalo Bills, but it's time to move on. The New York Jets have now lost three of their last four games to drop to 5-4. The Jets also haven't won a road game since Week 4, against the Dolphins. The Jets will be on the road this week taking on the Houston Texans, who just scored a huge victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to play despite injuring his thumb. A loss this week would be devastating for the Jets because so many teams are still alive in the AFC wild card chase.
