'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Episode 7 Spoilers: Damon, Stefan Try to Turn Lily Against Julian [Watch]
The Salvatore brothers will try to turn their mother against her longtime lover and convince her to help them kill him in Thursday's all-new episode of "The Vampire Diaries."
The synopsis for the Thanksgiving-themed episode, which is titled "Mommie Dearest," reveals that there will be more family drama and confrontation between Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley), and their mother Lily (guest star Annie Wersching).
"In order to get through to Lily about Julian's (guest star Todd Lasance) manipulating ways, Stefan and Damon confront their mother with painful memories from their childhood. However, when Lily reveals a dark secret she's been harboring for over 160 years, Stefan and Damon are left questioning everything they've ever known about their family. Determined to prove himself to Lily, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) comes face-to-face with Julian and challenges him to a duel, but an unexpected twist threatens to complicate things. Elsewhere, Matt (Zach Roerig) finds himself in the middle of a deepening mystery involving the residents of Mystic Falls, and Caroline's (Candice King) world is turned upside down when Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) reveals some life-changing news to her," the synopsis reads, according to CarterMatt.
The trailer video for the episode also reveals that Lily's life has been tied to Julian's by a spell. That means that if he dies, then she will too.
However, that revelation does not seem to deter Stefan and Damon from their mission to destroy him. In a clip, Damon stabs Julian in the stomach with a stake. In turn, Lily also feels the wound and drops to the floor.
Damon then says, "Best Thanksgiving ever."
In another part of the trailer, Stefan announces to Damon that they are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. Meanwhile, Caroline discovers that the Heretics have stored people in a high school classroom to use them as human blood bags. However, instead of feeding directly from their necks, they are using a more humane approach by draining them of their blood.
Last week, Jo was killed off the show, just weeks after being resurrected from the dead through the Phoenix Stone. However, actress Jodi Lyn O'Keefe teased that Jo might pop up again on the series at some point down the line.
"That's a Julie Plec question, I think," O'Keefe told Entertainment Weekly on Sunday when asked about her character's future. "But I'm not afraid to tell you that many, many people on the Interwebs, as I call it, have pointed out to me that vampire blood did go in my mouth before I passed away."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 Episode 7 premieres on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
