Latin Grammys News Update: Ricky Martin, Zoe Saldana, Maluma Among Performers and Presenters
On Thursday Nov. 19, the Latin Grammy Awards will be presented with many of the music industry's most important artists.
Performers
The awards ceremony will see 32 performers showcasing some of their most recent hits. Some of the performers include Spanish singer/songwriter Pablo Alborán, regional Mexican singer Julión Alvarez and Banda El Recodo De Don Cruz Lizárraga.
One of the most awaited performers of the night will be Will Smith, who will return to the stage after a number of years. The singer-turned-actor is currently promoting his new film "Concussion" and is a huge Oscar contender. Smith will share the stage with Bomba Estéreo.
J Balvin and Farruko will perform alongside Major Lazer and MØ while ChocQuibTown will perform with the Cuban ballet company.
Juan Luis Guerra will also perform as well as acclaimed band Maná. "Las Voz" judge Natalia Jiménez will share the stage with Italian pop trio Il Volo.
Other popular artists that will perform include Maluma, Espinoza Paz, Alejandro Sanz and Ricky Martin.
Presenters
As previously announced, Mexican actress Jacqueline Bracamontes and Puerto Rican singer/songwriter and actress Roselyn Sánchez will co-host the annual awards ceremony.
Among the presenters that will be present are actor Diego Boneta, Miguel Bosé, René Camacho, Pedro Capó and Aída Cuevas.
Leslie Grace, Jesse & Joy and Víctor Manuelle will present some awards, and legendary actress Rita Moreno will also be present. The actress is an Academy Award-winner for her work on "West Side Story" and has also won the Emmy, Tony, and Grammy awards.
Chino y Nacho will also be present as well as Hollywood royalty Génesis Rodríguez and Zoe Saldaña.
The Latin Grammys will air on Univision on Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. The awards will be presented at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
