The Golden State Warriors are looking to preserve their 13-0 record as the Chicago Bulls visit the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. It will be the first of two nationally televised matchups between the two teams this season.

The two teams split the season series last season, both winning away from their home floor. The Warriors defeated the Bulls at the United Center 112-102 last Dec. 7 led by Draymond Green's 31-point performance. Chicago returned the favor on Jan. 21 by beating Golden State in an overtime thriller in Oakland 113-111. Derrick Rose hit the game-winning jump shot with 8.4 seconds remaining.

The Warriors came back from a 23-point deficit to beat rivals Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center 124-117 on Thursday. Stephen Curry scored 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Dubs become the fifth team in NBA history to start the season with a 13-game winning streak. Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes added 25 and 21 points, respectively.

In their game against the Phoenix Suns, Jimmy Butler had 32 points and six rebounds to lead the Bulls to a 103-97 win as they improved to 8-3. Pau Gasol added 17 points and eight rebounds while Rose sat down with an injury. The 2011 NBA MVP suffered an ankle sprain during their win over the Indiana Pacers last Monday.

According to Nick Friedell of ESPN, Rose is a game-time decision against the Warriors while Aaron Brooks is out with a hamstring injury. "He's going to try to play. There's no doubt about it. He wants to be out there. He wants to play. But again, we're going to be smart with it," Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said on Rose's injury.

"He was moving around a little bit more today. Just doing some lateral slides, but not with a lot of speed right now. He'll get probably two more treatments today and get a couple on Friday," he added. If he remains sidelined, Kirk Hinrich is expected to start in his place.

Golden State have two injuries of their own with rookie Kevon Looney still out after undergoing a right hip surgery and Shaun Livingston still doubtful due to a strained left hip flexor. The Warriors are looking to remain undefeated in the season and preserve their 25-home game winning streak in the regular season that started after their January loss to the Bulls.

Tipoff in Oracle Arena is set for 10:30 p.m. ET and will be nationally televised on ESPN. It will also be broadcasted on CSN Bay Area and WGN-TV for local areas.
