This falls under the heading of "if she likes it, I love it" -- rumors are emerging from the music world that Katy Perry has moved on from John Mayer for good... by hooking up with rapper Riff Raff!

According to Radio.com, Riff Raff (who is actually known in the hip-hop world for his exaggerations -- how ironic that in a world built on braggadoccio, Riff Raff is considered too boastful) was bragging to anyone, and everyone, who would listen that he hooked up with the "Roar" singer. He told people that they went on a date, and it was "fun."

So, what does a Katy Perry-Riff Raff date entail? Pretty normal stuff -- they went to a Skrillex show, then went for some sushi, and then bowled a few frames. Riff Raff had fun on the date, and said that he made plans to meet up with Katy again when she returns from Belgium next week. "Who knows?" he said, "who knows where it may lead? No one can tell you what to do or not to do. You've just got to catch up, you know what I mean?"

Riff Raff went on to say that the new couple may collaborate on an album, now that they've got the dating thing under control.

Of course, if you're not from the hip-hop world, the name "Riff Raff" means nothing to you. So, who is he?

Horst Christian Simco, better known by the stage name Riff Raff, is a rapper from Houston. He was originally managed by Swishahouse co-founder OG Ron C. Then, after being associated with Soulja Boy's imprint S.O.D. Money Gang Inc., Riff Raff is now signed to producer Diplo's record label Mad Decent. He is also known for being a member of the rap group Three Loco along with Andy Milonakis and Dirt Nasty. His second studio album Neon Icon is due for release during April 2014.
