'Blindspot' Season 1 Fall Finale Spoilers: Doubts, Sweetness Dominate in 'Evil Handmade Instrument' [Watch]
Time flies when something's entertaining, and fans of NBC's drama "Blindspot" may be surprised to find out that the series is already heading into its 10th episode, which will air at 10 p.m. ET on Nov. 23.
The installment, titled "Evil Handmade Instrument," will also serve as the show's fall finale, given that the drama, produced by Martin Gero, will then take a break until the end of February.
A teaser for the episode shows Thomas Carter, the deputy Central Intelligence Agency director played by Michael Gaston, interrogating Jane Doe, the mysterious, amnesiac woman played by "Thor" star Jaimie Alexander, Design and Trend revealed.
"Who are you?" Carter demands to know. When Jane tells him that she does not know her true identity, the CIA officer questions her integrity.
But not every scene in the episode will be quite that tense, the website predicted: The installment also features a sweet moment between Jane and Kurt Weller, the head of the FBI Critical Incident Response Group, who is played by Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton.
The relationship between Weller and the mystery woman may eventually develop into a love story, Gero noted, and the two characters are seen looking into each other's eyes intently in some of the clips released by NBC, Design and Trend added.
"Blindspot" fans were left on edge, after the show suffered its first major casualty during last week's installment, titled "Authentic Flirt," Entertainment Weekly recalled. Writers killed off David (Joe Dinicol), the former boyfriend of Patterson, the head of the FBI Forensic Science Unit played by "What Women Want" star Ashley Johnson.
"In a show like this, people have to die," Gero explained in an interview with the magazine. "You can't have mortal jeopardy every week and not have people occasionally fall and perish. It seemed like a really good way to do our first casualty, as it's somebody that we're close to, but isn't a part of the team."
