PS Plus December 2015 Free Games: Rumored AAA Titles, 'Leaks', & Guesses
It's that time of the month again, PS Plus members. It's time to speculate on what games Sony might impart to us for free, come December 2015, and there's been a lot of speculation on AAA titles and a possible (though improbable) leak, yet again, this month. Let's have a look at the possibilities!
Last month, Sony delayed the announcement of its PlayStation Plus downloadable free games for November 2015 by several days. The result was that a retailer accidentally tweeted out the two top titles before Sony was ready to announce the PS Plus free games of the month -- a sloppy leak that Latin Post quickly reported on.
This month, there's a YouTube video from "GAMER DUDE" that's making the rounds, claiming to have found another pre-announcement leak of PS Plus titles from a European source.
About half a minute into the video, there's a "screenshot" displayed showing a PlayStation Plus promotional graphic featuring Angry Birds Space and Little Big Planet 3, with the Angry Birds title marked as the PS4 offering.
There's a lot of good reasons for skepticism here. First of all, the source of the screenshot is never revealed, nor how the video maker got his hands on it. Secondly, there's clearly a price on top of the promotional graphic. As every PS Plus member knows, we're interested in the free games, which logically means they don't come with a sticker price.
Finally, there's the selfish reason to hope the "leak" is a fake. Namely, who would even want to get Angry Birds Space as their PS4 free game of the month?
Meanwhile, the PlayStation forums are alive with guesses and wishes for the PS Plus December 2015 free games selections. Watch Dogs for PS3 is making the rounds again, along with Shadow Warrior for the PS4. So are the seemingly unreasonable hopes for Assassins Creed Black Flag .
And so are the cyclical, cynical guesses that December will bring a list consisting only of indie titles again.
What do you think? Are you holding out hope for a good PS Plus title or two, or do you think the PlayStation Plus free games selection has fallen from grace, never to return to awesomeness again? Let us know in the comments!
