Adele Opens Up About Boyfriend Simon Konecki
It's not quite often when famous hitmaker Adele opens up about her personal life much more about her relationships but in her recent interview with Liz Hayes for "60 Minutes," the "Hello" and "When We Were Young" singer spoke limitless about her relationship with longtime boyfriend Simon Konecki.
Adele has been in a relationship since 2011 with Konecki and they already have a three-year-old son, Angelo, per Us Weekly. However, despite what many might think that Adele's songs about heartbreak is about her and Konecki, apparently, it's far from the truth.
According to the singer herself in her 60 minutes with Hayes, she and Konecki share a great love for each other. "Being in such an amazing relationship with someone that's so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now," Adele said as quoted by E! News "That's what made me write about everything I've ever done, because I've got his love."
Furthermore, Adele revealed that Konecki wouldn't meddle in her way of creating music especially since it's about heartbreak. "He cares about me more than anything," she continued as quoted by E! News. "But he doesn't care about the style of music that I make and stuff like that and he just loved it."
The famous British singer, known for her great music and extremely private life added, "I know that sounds a bit like I'm trying to write a Hollywood movie, but it's only because of him and because of our kid and stuff that I'm all right."
Adele's latest album "25" was recently released on iTunes and already reportedly sold 900,000 copies in a single day. Adele has also been awarded 10 Grammys, four Brit Awards, one Oscar and one Golden Globe.
"Before, I used to really get comfy in that area of despair," Adele said of her music which is usually about heartbreak as quoted by Us Weekly
"But I realized how much junk there was -- memories I was holding onto, and memories are wonderful, but a lot of them I don't need to hold onto," she added.
Adele continued sharing that she had been more mature than before. "I'm a mum, I'm a girlfriend, I'm a friend, and stuff like that," she said. "I'm ready to go into the complete new chapter of my life. ...I've grown up."
