Former Disney stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are apparently no longer friends, according to Twitter.

Twitter, a great source for online social networking, can say a lot about one's friendship, as it never lies about who is following whom, as well as who is followed by whom. If you just take a moment to scroll down the list of Lovato's following, her longtime pal Cyrus is surprisingly not one of them. The same goes to the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker.

So what might have possibly happened to the pair's friendship? Eiza Gonzalez might be the one to blame as it has been recently reported that the former X Factor judge has started up a new friendship with the Mexican actress -- which the Bangerz singer might think is a violation of the girl code.

Gonzalez is certainly not on the twerking pop star's good side, ever since she famously hooked up with Cyrus's ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, just days after their split last year. Also, she has been working alongside Lovato's rumored boyfriend, Wilmer Valderama, on From Dust Till Dawn: The Series.

Disregarding how Miley Cyrus feels about all this, it seems like the friendship between Eiza Gonzalez and Demi Lovato, who is part Mexican, is growing as they shared snapshots of them posing together via Instagram.

Lovato does not seem to mind at all that the "Adore You" singer is clearly not happy about her choice of friend. "Ain't nobody got time fo dat!!! #pettybulls --- #toobusykillingit #cutethough #NEONLIGHTSTOUR," she tweeted before deleting them. "You are who your friends are. You just have SO Much going for you!!!"

In addition, it has been claimed that the "Neon Lights" singer is upset at Miley Cyrus's assistant, Cheyne Thomas, after she reportedly made fun of Lovato's substance abuse problems on Instagram last December.
