The time is almost for adrenaline-pumping action in "Just Cause 3." Before the excitement begins, Avalanche Studios reveals the specs required and recommended for the best experience in the new installment of the open world action-adventure title. Along with the information on the specs needed for the upcoming game, the developer also recently released a new video diary entry to share more about the engine.

According to a report from GameSpot, Avalanche Studios confirmed the minimum and recommended PC specs for the game including a 64-bit operating system, specifically Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1. At least 6GB of RAM is required, although it's recommended that players have 8GB.

Minimum CPU specs are Intel Core i5-2500K, 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3 GHz, but the Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz are best. The PC would also need to be equipped with GTX 670 or HD 7870 with 2GB of memory at least. For maximum performance, either the 3GB GTX 780 or 4GB R9 290 are ideal.

The team behind "Just Cause 3" also revealed a deeper look behind the scenes in a recent video. In the developer diary entry, the staff discussed the technical advancements in the upcoming action game including methods they conceptualized to make the gaming experience a smoother one for players.

"The Avalanche engine focused a lot on rule sets and procedural solutions to problems," Linus Blomberg, founder and chief technical officer of Avalanche Studios, explained. "The benefit of that is freedom of movement that that enables for players."

The freedom was emphasized throughout the video as the team expounded on the technology that was the foundation of the new "Just Cause" title. Lead character programmer Jeff Shroff talked about being able to do a number of different things as players navigate the world, with the video showing game protagonist Rico Rodriguez's grappling hook and famed wing suit.

"Just the ability to create worlds of this density, complexity and size, that alone is what makes the Avalanche engine stand out," Blomberg concluded at the end of the video.

Aside from all the new details in the video and interviews, Avalanche Studios has also unveiled the complete Trophy list for the upcoming "Just Cause 3." There are 48 in total, including several that revealed specific Story Missions that could be found inside the game. The full list may be found at PSN Profiles.
