After Microsoft launched the first major update for Windows 10, the November update suddenly went missing, raising some questions as to why it was pulled out.

According to a report from ArsTechnica, Microsoft allows its users to download the installer using the Media Creation Tool (MCT), which main purpose is to upgrade and clear previous installations in order to download a new one. But recently, the Windows 10 upgrade version 1511 on MCT was obviously missing. Apart from this, it was replaced with an older July update.

Apparently, Microsoft didn't actually pull out the Windows 10 upgrade but updated it into something more efficient. Microsoft has ended the version 1511's appearance on MCT and it will be soon made available on the Windows Update.

According to Microsoft's official comment, "People can still download Windows 10 [Build10240] using the MCT tool if they wish. The November Update will be delivered via Windows Update."

Some of the issues that have been encountered on the update 1511 is the inability of users with Windows 7 and Windows 8 to access clean installation. The only thing that they have been able to get is the support for upgrade installations.

Update 1511 also automatically put Windows 10 as the users' homepage without giving them any other option. While the update seems to purposely fix bugs on the current Windows 10, users encountered several other problems such as the lock screen not being able to hide the whole screen, the Mail App consuming excessive processor memory and the device suddenly turning on after being on sleep mode. Currently, the July version of the update is up for anyone who wants to try it, but other users still see the better concept of the November update of Windows 10.

Previously, Latin Post featured the first major update of the Windows 10 OS, and it includes some tweaking on the overall performance of the device as well as the Cortana feature. Apparently, the update has caused the device to boot 30 percent faster than it used to be. The Microsoft Edge browser has also received several security improvements as well as a feature that lets you hover the mouse over a tab and to see its content idea without actually opening it.

Are you convinced on the latest Windows 10 update? What do you think is the real reason behind Microsoft pulling it out?
