Lady Gaga Works With Mark Ronson, Lily Allen Says
Lady Gaga is working in the recording studio with Mark Ronson according to Lily Allen.
The 29-year-old "Born This Way" singer was reportedly given precedence over Allen, who was scheduled to work with Ronson at the same time, according to Idolator.
"I was meant to be in the studio with Mark Ronson in the morning but he cancelled on me because Gaga's there," Allen said. "I'm just going to turn up anyway."
In the past, it has been reported Gaga started work on her upcoming album, "LG5," with disco legend Nile Rodgers and RedOne, who also served as the producer on her 2008 album "The Fame."
"We took a little break from each other and now it feels like we are in a good place, both of us. She did her thing, I did my thing, and it feels like we're back on track together," the producer told Abu Dhabi's The National earlier this year.
Gaga released her last solo album, "ARTPOP," in 2013. The album, which topped the U.S. Billboard 200, U.S. Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the U.K. Albums chart, produced the singles "Applause," "Do What U Want" and "G.U.Y."
The last album she was featured on was "Cheek to Cheek," her duet album with Tony Bennett, which was released on Sept. 19, 2014. This album produced the singles "Anything Goes" and "I Can't Give You Anything but Love." The album topped the U.S. Billboard 200 and U.S. Top Jazz Albums chart.
Gaga has also been busy with her role as The Countess on "American Horror Story: Hotel." The FX series, created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, debuted in October.
Additional cast members for this season include Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Wes Bentley, Angela Bassett, Max Greenfield, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Darren Criss.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs on FX Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
