The 24 year-old beauty tweeted her excitement to her 307,000+ followers exclaiming in all caps, "WE'RE ENGAGED!!! @10AJMcCArron." She sent out the tweet on Friday at 8:45 p.m. Webb was also very pleased with the choice of ring McCarron put on her finger. She bragged via Twitter, "He designed it himself @10AJMcCarron."

The proposal tweet created such frenzy among Webb's followers that it was re-tweeted more than 7,400 times. The two have been dating since 2012, following Webb's graduation from Auburn University.

McCarron popped the question on Friday night at Coast Restaurant, located at The Beach Club in Gulf Shores. The husband-to-be asked Webb for her hand in marriage amidst a crowd of spectators at the restaurant.

Webb later posted a pic of the all white three-tier engagement cake with floral embellishment that the couple shared at the restaurant.

"This cake is incredible! I couldn't have asked for anything better for my engagement. Thank you @CouturecakesAL," she tweeted.

In addition to her success as a beauty queen, Katherine Webb's notoriety peaked after ESPN/ABC commentator Bret Musburger spotted her in the crowd at the 2013 BCS National Championship game. Musburger commented on what a "beautiful" woman McCarron was dating.

"You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women," Musburger continued on with Kirk Herbstreit, a former quarterback.

Since Musburger's comment, Webb has been the eye of every man and woman's envy. Safe to say, Musburger will probably not be invited to the wedding.

Webb's fiancé, AJ McCarron, is known for winning two national titles as an Alabama quarterback and finishing second in the December 2013 Heisman trophy race. McCarron will soon be headed to May's NFL draft.

Congratulations to you both!
