Sam Smith's fans have taken to dressing up like "Star Wars" characters.

The 23-year-old singer's fans began donning the attire after he started posting photos of his life-sized stuffed Ewok, which he picked up while on vacation, according to MTV.

Smith is currently enjoying a holiday in Tokyo. While there, he purchased the snuggly stuffed animal, a beloved, well known "Star Wars" character from "Return of the Jedi."

The singer has posted several photos on Instagram of himself holding his furry Ewok, his Ewok posing in front of the cityscape, and the Ewok sitting at a table enjoying some junk food.

While on his trip, Smith was even greeted by two fans wearing full "Star Wars" costumes. The "Star Wars" and Smith fans were dressed as C-3PO and Chewbacca for a photo opp, which was later posted on Smith's Instagram. The person dressed as C-3PO put up a peace sign geture and the person donning the Chewbacca get-up held up a signed photo of Smith.

"Going to miss my Japanese fans!! So amazing haha. The guy on the rights name is 'YAS' - best name ever!!!! YAS YAS YAS YAS," Smith wrote in the caption.

The singer has been posting a lot on Instagram lately, especially for the purpose of exposing homophobia and sharing with the world his new hobby of collecting crystals.

He recently revealed he'll be taking a break from music to relax and possibly go on a few dates.

"I've been playing now for three years nonstop. And it feels right for me to just go home and live my life - just be a 23-year-old," he told ET Online. "It'd be good to actually spend some time dating I think."

Smith released "In The Lonely Hour: Drowning Shadows Edition" on Nov. 6. The deluxe edition of his debut album features covers of Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" and Amy Winehouse's "Love Is a Losing Game." It also includes his collaborations with Disclosure and Mary J. Blige.
