Microsoft's Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are now available sans the carrier tie-up.

It may not be a Black Friday treat for fans, but Microsoft announced that the Lumia 950 XL will be made available in retail stores starting Nov. 26. The offer is an initiative from the Microsoft company to address other consumers who want to acquire the handset without the need to get tied up to a specific carrier.
According to Phone Arena, the Lumia 950 can be ordered online. Unfortunately, a great demand for the Lumia 950 XL may have prompted the company to have it sold in their retail stores because its online slot only says, "Email me when available." Both handsets carry the latest Windows 10 OS. If you're still wondering which one to buy, you may want to look at their specifications to know if they meet your requirements.
