EPL Week 14 Schedule, Fixtures, Table & Stream: Manchester United, Leicester City Collide for Top Spot
Leicester City and Manchester United will collide in a battle of the top two teams heading into Week 14 of the 2015-16 English Premier League season.
Leicester City are currently on top of the standings with 28 points, while Manchester United are not too far behind with 27 points in 13 matches.
Leicester City will look to solidify their grip on the top spot with a win on Saturday in front of their fans at King Power Stadium. Club manager Claudio Ranieri is looking forward to the match because he thinks it will be the biggest test for them so far in the season.
"We know that sooner or later we will lose but we just want to show our great character," Ranieri said. "The spirit of our group is so strong. Saturday is a great challenge for us to improve. We have had good matches but we also have weaknesses and we have to cover them."
Leicester City will rely heavily on striker Jamie Vardy, who has scored at least a goal in their last 10 league games. A goal on Saturday will help him break Ruud van Nistelrooy's consecutive goal-scoring record.
On the other hand, Manchester United are also aiming to get back on top and a win against the current leaders will propel them to No. 1 after Week 14. The Red Devils are coming off a dramatic 2-1 win against Watford last week, which helped them secure the second spot in the standings.
Manchester City and Arsenal also have a chance to become No. 1 if they win in their Week 14 games combined with a draw between Manchester United and Leicester. Manchester City will face Southampton on Saturday, while Arsenal will go up against Norwich City on Sunday.
