PS4 Update: Patch 1.50 Can Now Be Downloaded, PlayStation Media Player Gets Improved Features
If you are an avid fan of PlayStation 4's media player, then you're in for some cool enhanced features, Attack of the Fan Boy reports.
The PlayStation 4 update, patch 1.50, is now available for download and will bring features that will enhance and make the PlayStation 4 more stable. A Reddit user recently revealed that the media player for PlayStation 4 has been updated. The user posted a photo of the update history for version 1.50, showing a list of changes on the PlayStation 4.
A detailed feature of patch 1.50 includes Arabic support, improved closed captioning for videos, display mode for videos, displayed location of "recently played" and "favorites and improved overall stability.
During the launching of the PlayStation 4 platform, the media player wasn't included, but it was integrated after eight months. Now, by using a USB device, gamers can now listen to their favorite music, view pictures and watch videos on the PlayStation 4.
PlayStation Life Style, on the other hand, also features a new and upcoming update for the console tagged as v1.07. None of its content has been revealed, but Stuart Platt said on Twitter that the development of the said update has already been completed. Currently, they are on the final steps of testing to make sure it will work properly.
As for the music feature, PlayStation Life Style mentioned that the developers are trying to add two music features or the patch.
PlayStation 4 recently hit a milestone after it reached its 30 million mark, making it the number one console provider for several years. This puts its rival, the Xbox One, trailing behind. Xbox One also made news after saying that they are considering putting a background music for the Xbox One console, per a previous Latin Post report. It may not be available immediately, but Xbox One said that they are considering it.
