The Top 10 field of Season 9 of "The Voice" is set after Team Pharrell's Evan McKeel was dismissed following a less than convincing rendition of Al Green's classic "Let's Stay Together.

IBTimes reports McKeel was edged out for the final spot in the Top 10 by Team Gwen's Erin Bukowski, who for the second week in a row found herself in the bottom two and desperately needing the help of the audience to assure her survival.

Bukowski earned the nod by adeptly executing a version of Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved," where her smooth and effortless style brightly shined through.

Her narrow escape propelled her into a Top 10 field that also includes fellow Team Gwen teammates Jeffrey Austin and Braiden Sunshine, Team Adam's Jordan Smith, Amy Vachal and Jeffrey Austin, Team Blake's Emily Ann Roberts, Barrett Baber and Zach Seabaugh, Team Pharrell's one remaining contestant Madi Davis.

Entertainment Weekly reports Bukowski's move of singing Levine's own music to him in an effort to keep her in the competition was seen as a bold and courageous move by many.

But it's just as clear Maroon 5 front-man Levine has become one of her biggest fans, as for the second straight week he unabashedly implored fans to vote to bring her back as opposed to her Instant Save Contender.

The completion now finds Pharrell down to his final singer, though no one expects the powerhouse Davis to exiting the stage anytime soon. Earlier this month, Mark Hood became the first of the Live Performances competitors to be shown the door.

"The Voice's" practice of ushering in who's who level talent to open the show continued with Brad Paisley performing the honors last week and Sia on tap for next Monday.
