Former "Full House" star Mary Kate-Olsen recently shocked fan after news that she finally wed her long-time boyfriend and French banker Olivier Sarkozy. New York Post's Page Six first reported the news, saying that the duo held their wedding on Friday.

Just before celebrating Christmas, Olsen and Sarkozy said their "I Do's" in Manhattan, New York and held the reception at a private residence on 49th Street, between Second and Third avenues.

The wedding was very private with only 50 guests. Guests were even reportedly asked to hand out their cellphones before entering the ceremony to keep them from sharing any detail of the wedding to the public.

Although the newlyweds have yet to comment on the circulating wedding news, a source from Page Six reports that the wedding was one of a kind since guests were treated to "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night."

The Hollywood Reporter further said that the now married couple were engaged since last year and dating since 2012. The 29-year-old former child star and fashion designer already made up an empire in fashion with two fashion brands, The Row and Elizabeth and James with sister Ashley Olsen.

Meanwhile, Olsen's 49-year-old husband is also known to be the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and is the head of the Global Financial Services group at The Carlyle Group.

His work is focused on investing in management buyouts, growth capital opportunities and strategic minority investments in financial services. While the recently reported marriage is the first one for Olsen, it is the second time, however, for Sarkozy, Sky News reports.

Furthermore, Sarkozy already has two children Julien, 13, and Margo, 11, from his previous marriage to Charlotte Bernard. Before their marriage, Sarkozy and Olsen already shared a $6.25 million townhouse in Manhattan, per Us Weekly .

During the time that the two were still dating, Us Weekly revealed that the two were interested in having a serious relationship, especially Olsen, who was reportedly done with dating immature men. "MK is constantly complaining about boys not being mature enough for her," a source told the news outlet.

"She got the kids out of her system. Now being a businesswoman dominates her time, and she is rarely impressed with guys. She's definitely interested in him," the insider added.
