Despite the lack of official statement from Sony, twitter user Tidux revealed that Sony has sold over one million PlayStation 4 consoles in November, Attack of the Fan Boy reports.

The report notes that during the Black Friday madness, PlayStation 4 sales broke records, and it was also the time when the highest number of consoles was connected to the PSN. Records show that the only time it came close to such number of consoles connecting to the PSN was during the launching of the PlayStation 4. Online PlayStation 4 users have significantly increased after Black Friday, which only showed how successful Sony's campaign has been.

The PlayStation Plus has also hit a record number of players who registered online, making Sony's effort to cut down on the price of their games a successful venture during the holiday period. The number of players who registered online is a combination of new registry as well as those who opted to extend their registration to PlayStation Plus.

According to VG247, the hype of gaming console sales, specifically the PlayStation 4, did not end during the Black Friday rush but went until the Cyber Monday deals. The 500GB PlayStation 4 console bundled with "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" is priced at $299 at Walmart and on Amazon. Whereas eBay offers the 500GB PlayStataion 4 bundled with "Star Wars: Battlefront" at $329.99.

U.K eBay offers the 500GB console bundled with "FIFA 16" and "Grand Theft Auto V" for £269.99. U.K Amazon, on the other hand, offers the 1TB "Uncharted" bundle for £279.99. Other offers in the U.K region include a reconditioned console on Amazon for £199.99 and another reconditioned console bundled with "Fallout 4" for £224.99 on Argos. The 1TB "Uncharted" bundle offered on Amazon costs around £279.99. The said games deal, which are offered at a very low price, made PlayStation 4 more affordable and accessible for budget consumers.

The competition between gaming consoles PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One has been monitored closely during the Black Friday deal announcement, and, so far, PlayStataion 4 has been taking the top spot.

Whether the one million mark is true or not, PlayStation 4 has indeed made a significant mark on its sales during Black Friday. Considering Sony's effort to bundle their console with popular games, it's not impossible for the tech giant to reach the one million mark in a month.
