Acer Liquid X2 Release Date & Specs: Triple-SIM, LTE Smartphone Coming Out in January?
Acer is set to unveil a new innovation, and it comes in the form of the Acer Liquid X2 smartphone.
According to a report from Phone Arena, the Acer Liquid X2 has been announced as early as April this year, but nothing about its specifications have been confirmed. Now, it looks like the Acer Liquid X2 is all set to be revealed and hit the market soon.
SoyaCincau featured the Acer Liquid X2 along with its specifications, which include a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen. The handset also has a 64-bit octa core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Acer Liquid X2 is a triple-SIM handset that has support for 4G and LTE. The smartphone also displays a 13-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a LED flash. The unit is powered by a whopping 4,000 mAH battery, enough to sustain phone usage for long hours.
The latest smartphone from Acer is expected to be released in January 2016. It will arrive to the market in two color variants: black and gold.
Phone Arena compared the Acer Liquid X2 to the design of the Sony Xperia handset. Despite its design not making a phenomenal debut, the tech outlet notes that the smartphone is one-of-a-kind because of its rare triple-SIM feature.
Price tag for the Acer Liquid X2 is not yet available. In Addition to its impressive specs, the Acer Liquid X2 will run on Android OS. Upon purchase, users will be treated with a special cover accessory, a flip cover that allows you to peek on notifications without actually flipping open the case.
Along with the introduction of the Acer Liquid X2 is the brand's equally competitive phone models which include the Acer Z530, Acer Liquid Z330 and Acer Liquid Z630.
For those who are willing to try the Acer brand, they also have an entry level model, the Z330. The Z330 has a 4.5-inch screen with a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM inside. A minimal 8GB internal memory is included, but it can be expanded using a micro-SD. It has a five-megapixel primary camera and a fix-focused five-megapixel secondary shooter, all powered by a 2,000 mAH removable battery.
