There was almost an Avengers superhero named Super Firecrotch... that is, if you believe Lindsay Lohan, who claims that she was up for a role in the blockbuster Marvel Comics film, but didn't get the part. So, who would she have played... and what was the reason for her failure to get the role?

According to Time Magazine, in a recent interview, Lindsay claimed that she was up for a role in The Avengers, but because her manager "didn't push hard enough," her proposed role "went to an unknown." It should be interesting to see which role, in particular, Lindsay is talking about -- because both of the main female roles went to NON-unknowns: Scarlett Johannson played the Black Widow, and Gwyneth Paltrow (pretentious as she may be) played Pepper Potts.

"If I don't work in a film, he passes it to Vanessa Hudgens; [my manager] passes it one of his other clients," Lohan said. "Every day I'm not on a film set, I'm wasting my talent because that's what I was born, and live, to do."

It's actually quite a shame, when you think about it, that Lindsay is so delusional as to believe that it's everyone else's fault but her own as to why she's stuck playing in such crap-tastic films as The Canyons (for which she had to work 70 hours a week, and received $400 a week before taxes in a salary) and the made-for-Lifetime, it's-so-bad-it's-good slop-show Liz and Dick.

The reason she got blacklisted in the industry, according to The New York Daily News, had nothing to do with her manager preferring Vanessa Hudgens over her... it had to do with the fact that she was constantly partying (to the detriment of her work schedule), in rehab, consistently late to shoots, constantly throwing tantrums, and being more trouble than she was actually worth.

Hopefully she'll wake up and smell the coffee soon.
