Hip-hop star Future is being sued by a promoter who claims the rapper abruptly bailed on a concert, causing him to lose out on a gate where he anticipated earning upwards of $150,000.

According to TMZ, Robert Caillier alleges he gave reps for the rapper a $15,000 advance to perform a gig in Louisiana in August 2014, but the hip-hop star never showed, causing the promoter to lose out on all the profits he was anticipating pocketing. He is now suing for the return of his deposit and the six-figure amount he was expecting to make.

Sources close to Future claim, in the end, he decided to walk away from the deal because it was "shady." As for Caillier's claims that Future was a no show, sources add the rapper did appear and even performed a song, before being pulled off the stage by management after they realized the promoter did not have the remaining balance due.

TMZ adds documents don't mention how much Future was actually owed, but it's rumored the rapper pockets at least $150,000 per performance.

The rapper has recently been all over the news for the steamy "$ex" music video he released co-starring Blac Chyna. Not long after that, the mother of fellow rapper Tyga's child commenced sporting a Future tattoo on her hand.

However, talk that Future and Chyna were in the midst of a whirlwind romance was stopped when the rapper took to social media to proclaim he was still "single and focused on what makes me happy."

Future has also infamously dated singer Ciara. More recently, the two have battled nonstop over the young son they share. The rapper recently took his ex to task for having her new boyfriend, NFL star quarterback Russell Wilson, around his young son.
