The Golden State Warriors are 19-0 and has a 23-game winning streak dating back from last regular season that they will try to preserve when they visit the Charlotte Hornets at the Time Warner Cable Arena on Wednesday. It is the second of a seven-game road trip that will start this December for the Warriors while the Hornets are in the final game of their current seven-game homestand that started last Nov. 18.

The Golden State Warriors were put to the test in their last game against the Utah Jazz on Monday at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City. Stephen Curry scored 10 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, including a clutch 3-point shot and a pair of free throws to close the game 106-103.

"We've had some battles and, obviously, we've had some lopsided victories, but what gets lost in the record is the tough games we've had to claw our way out of like tonight. Just because we are 19-0 doesn't mean we can just show up and blow teams out and guarantee a win, we actually have to do something about it," Curry said after the game before flying to his hometown of Charlotte.

Draymond Green was solid across the board, scoring 20 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing five assists while Klay Thompson also added 20 points with a pair of assists. Interim head coach Luke Walton was named NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month for November even though he was not credited with any wins, per ESPN.

The Hornets are currently 5-1 in their current homestand and 8-2 overall at home. They defeated the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday 87-82 even without big man Al Jefferson for much of the game after leaving midway through the first quarter with a left calf strain.

"We had a lot of guys step up. We have a lot of guys who can individually play better as they learn how to help each other play better. Obviously, from a team standpoint, there are a lot of things that we need to do better. We have a good team, but we have a team that can keep getting better," coach Steve Clifford said.

Kemba Walker led the way for Charlotte with 22 points, three assists and three steals while Nicolas Batum added 15 points, five rebounds and five assists with two steals and a block. The Hornets are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Warriors swept the season series against the Hornets last year, winning by a margin of 15 points. Tip-off in Charlotte starts at 7:00 p.m. ET and is available on NBA League Pass nationally while broadcasted locally on CSN Bay Area and FOX Sports Southeast.
