JoJo recently performed one of her new tracks, "When Love Hurts," on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

The 24-year-old "Too Little Too Late" singer stopped by the late night show on Tuesday to perform for Fallon's crowd, accompanied by The Roots, according to Rap-Up.

JoJo donned a black-and-white polka-dotted pantsuit and crop top ensemble during her performance, which started off with a subdued, yet soulful acapella intro, before transitioning to a full-on energetic poppy vibe for the remainder of the Benny Blanco-produced song.

She was surprised by a few of her family members backstage at "The Tonight Show" and posted a photo of her and her family on Instagram with the caption, "Some of my family surprised me at Fallon. I saw them in the hallway after my performance and started crying. I'm a ball of emotions. So much going on in my life in what feels like every area... And to see my loved ones at this time meant more than I can explain. Oh..: still at the airport btw. Been here all day. Flight been delayed 5 almost 6 hours. Trying to get to Rochester for this radio show. Lord make a way!"

The singer released her most recent EP, "III," which is pronounced Tringle, on Aug. 21. "When Love Hurts," "Save My Soul" and "Say Love" are the three singles included on the offering. The singer has released music videos for the tracks "When Love Hurts" and "Say Love."

Before "Tringle," JoJo last released her debut EP, "#LoveJo," in February 2014. This EP included the songs "Intro," "Caught Up in the Rapture," "Take Me Home" and "Glory." Prior to releasing this EP, she also released two mixtapes, "AgápÄ“" and "Can't Take That Away from Me."

JoJo is currently on her I Am JoJo Tour, which began on Nov. 2. She will travel next to Atlanta, Dallas, Boston andToronto, and wrap up the trek in New Orleans on Sunday, Dec. 20.

The singer's last album, "The High Road," was released in 2006. This offering produced the songs "Too Little Too Late," "How to Touch a Girl" and "Anything." Her next album is rumored to arrive early next year. All the songs included on "Tringle" will be featured on her upcoming album.
