WWE is reportedly scrapping most of the plans for WrestleMania 32 and restarting after all-time low ratings in the past few weeks, per The Inquisitr. The top priority of the WWE creative team is to find a viable opponent for Brock Lesnar in Dallas next year, and Kevin Owens is one of the names discussed to challenge "The Beast."

Former WWE creative writer Court Bauer said on the latest episode of MLW Radio that Lesnar vs. Owens is one of the possible matches at WrestleMania 32 along with Roman Reigns vs. Triple H and The Undertaker vs. John Cena. Bauer also noted that the injuries of Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Cesaro forced Vince McMahon to "start from scratch."

He added that Owens will benefit with a feud with Lesnar and the promos between the Intercontinental champion and Paul Heyman has a great potential to get fans excited. The match itself has the possibility of a classic, physical altercation to please hardcore fans that are very disappointed with the current product.

Owens have expressed the desire to work with "The Beast" in the past and reveals that he still wants to do it at WrestleMania 32 in a recent appearance on the "Like Father Like Son" podcast with Jeramie McPeek of the Phoenix Suns. "My answer is always Brock Lesnar because I'd just love to be in the ring with him and see what it's like," the 31-year-old said as quoted by Wrestling Zone.

"There's nobody quite like Brock Lesnar, as far as pure strength and viciousness and everything. I'd love to see if I could hang with him and see how much I could hurt him," he added. The Intercontinental champion also said the he desires to face The Undertaker in the future, if possible.

"I'd love to get in the ring with The Undertaker one day, too. I feel like that's a long shot because he wrestles on a limited basis. Hopefully, I can position myself in the next year or so to be seen as a viable opponent for the Undertaker," Owens said. He also mentioned that he does not care whether his match with "The Deadman" is at WrestleMania, RAW or a live event.

Lesnar currently has not appeared on WWE television since defeating The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell, but according to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter via 24 Wrestling, he is scheduled to return at 2015 WWE Slammy Awards edition of RAW on Dec. 21.
