Selena Gomez recently admitted in an interview that she would like the chance to date older men and move on from her public relationship with fellow pop star Justin Bieber.

Gomez explained that her fame made it challenging for her in the world of dating.

"I hate it," the 23-year-old "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer recently told InStyle magazine. "It's hard. I'm weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened."

Perhaps more than anything, Bieber's on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend reveals she'd like to experience dating older men, but that too has proven a lot easier said than done.

"I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys," the former Disney Channel star added.

As for Bieber and the very public nature of their up and down relationship, Gomez insisted all she wants now is to be able to move forward in peace.

"I'm just tired of talking about it," she said. "I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story."

Still, she and Bieber were recently spied hanging out together in Beverly Hills, with him not ending the night before serenading her over dinner, leading to widespread speculation of yet another reconciliation.

More recently, it's been reported the "Good For You" singer was crushing on NHL star Tom Wilson, after she was introduced to the Washington Capitals star by friend Julianne Hough.

Since that introduction, she has "liked" several of his Instagram pics and has been "flirting" with him on social media. Wilson is reported to already be dating Canadian volleyball star Taylor Pischke.

Meanwhile, Gomez found the time to shoot down rumors she was dating singer Zayn Malik.

She added, "If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding."
