Joe Rogan is one of the most popular individuals in MMA and has a contract with the UFC until August 2016. The longtime UFC color commentator and analyst revealed that he might not sign a new deal and leave the company.

"I like experiencing new things. I'm not a big fan of doing the same sh*t over and over and over again. Like when I do stand-up comedy, I have to go to different places. I like to go to weird spots. I like to travel. I like to just get in my car and drive places and get out of my car and walk around and check out places," Rogan said on his "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.

"I've been doing the UFC for a long time. I will never stop being a UFC fan. That's not going to happen. I love the sport. But there's probably going to come a time where I don't do commentary anymore, and it might be sooner than later," he added as quoted by MMA Junkie.

The 48-year-old has been with the UFC for almost 20 years. He started as a backstage interviewer in February 1997, appearing at UFC 12: Judgement Day in Dothan, Alabama. Rogan eventually became a color commentator in 2001 when Dana White and Zuffa purchased the UFC.

Aside from his job as a commentator and analyst, he has been doing stand-up comedy since 1989 and has recorded several comedy albums and specials including "Shiny Happy Jihad," "I'm Gonna be Dead Someday," "Joe Rogan Live," "Joe Rogan: Talking Monkeys in Space," and "Joe Rogan: Live from the Tabernacle," per Laugh Spin.

His podcast that started in 2009 and is available on Ustream and YouTube is a very popular show that discusses everything from comedy, hobbies, and politics. According to The Inquisitr, Rogan's podcast reached 11 million monthly downloads, making it one of the highest downloaded podcasts on the internet.

He is also an entrepreneur, being a partner of Aubrey Marcus, CEO of Onnit supplements since 2011. Rogan helped Onnit become a multimillion dollar company that helps its consumers improve their human performance up to its full capacity via fitness equipment, food, nutrition, personal care, and supplements.

As for his accomplishments in the UFC, he was named Personality of the Year of 2011 and 2012 by the World MMA Awards, per MMA Fighting. Rogan was also named as the Best Television Announcer by The Wrestling News Observer in 2010 and 2011.
