'Pretty Little Liars' Actor Ian Harding Sells Hollywood Hills Home for $1M
"Pretty Little Liars" actor Ian Harding sells his California home.
The "Addiction: A 60's Love Story" star has officially unloaded his Hollywood Hills for almost $1 million, Los Angeles Times reported. However, the celebrity who consistently received accolades from "Teen Choice Awards," actually asked around $1.2 million for it two months ago, noted the Los Angeles Times in a separate report.
Yet, it is still a great closing price for Harding as he reportedly bought the said property three years ago for only $718,000, giving him around $300,000 profit from the sale.
The Los Angeles home covers 1,241 square feet and rests on two attached lots measuring 6,000 square feet. The Laurel Canyon property built in the 1940s contains three bedrooms and two full baths. Aside from the main residence, there is a guest house for visitors to stay. The visitor's quarters is equipped with its own cooking area.
Indoors, the house prides itself for having aesthetic accents such as live plants, neat picture-framed photos, textured furniture, charming hanging lights and great contrasting colors used in decorating. Other notable details include wood-lined flooring, vaulted high ceilings and an airy ambiance that gives a comfortable living space.
The next owners may enjoy talking or chatting while eating in the artistic outdoor dining area. They may also park two of their vehicles in the garage.
A Very Special Project for Harding
The 29-year-old TV celebrity shared on In Style magazine in March his personal mission of disseminating information about the disease called lupus.
According to Lupus.org, people who have it may experience symptoms that may present themselves longer than one and a half months or even more than several years, as it is chronic. It is also an autoimmune, non-contagious disease which may have severe effects in various parts of the body, including its organs, joints and skin, among others.
Instead of attacking foreign materials, a lupus patient's immune system attack its own body even the healthy ones leading to pain and destruction of tissues and organs within the body.
Why does the actor gives his attention to letting people know about this disease? In Style noted that it is a meaningful project for him as his mother carries the autoimmune disease.
The actor who starred in "Hollywood Is Like High School with Money" is thankful to his fans for supporting him in this mission as well.
"My mom has lupus, and we've raised all of this money entirely from fans -- it's amazing. The fans love it and are so supportive -- they've done a lot to help raise money," said Harding.
