Yet another part of the 90's dies a slow, painful death: Courtney Love, forever on the runaway train of crazy, has announced that she's trying to make a Kurt Cobain-themed musical happen!

According to Time Magazine, the widow of the Nirvana frontman -- whose death in 1994 sent shockwaves throughout the music world -- is interested in bringing her husband's likeness, and music, to the Great White Way. However, she can't make that happen without the permission of the proper heir to the estate: Francis Bean Cobain, the sole scion of Cobain and Love. At first, of course, Francis wasn't having any parts of this lunacy... but lately, she's been warming up to the idea of her father being respected through a "theatre show."

Indeed, according to SMH Australia, Love's reasoning for a Cobain musical had nothing to do with her... and everything to do with Nirvana's fans (who, you would think, would be happy with the band getting inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame on April 11 to not rock the boat... but I guess not), who wanted the musical to happen. Most of all, though, she'd like her daughter to experience what the rest of us who were alive to witness the 90s experienced when they heard Nirvana's music.

"I would devote countless hours with an A-team to create a project that reflects Kurt in the most respectful but honest way possible, so that his story, his music and his legacy can be resurrected on stage for not only the world to see but more importantly for our daughter to see," she said. "I know her father's spirit will be on that stage, and sitting in that theatre with her will be the most emotional experience of our lives."

In addition to the musical, Love is also in talks with a few movie houses to do a Kurt Cobain bio-pic.
