NeNe Leakes Throw Shade at 'The View' Hosts
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes' recent guesting on ABC's "The View" didn't go too well since she recently threw shade at the show's host in her interview with "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen on Sunday night.
Leakes, famously known for her stint at the hit reality series came in for "The View" in their segment "Hot Topic's Table" last Nov. 17, and although she seemingly was all smiles during her appearance talking about her marriages, brand new house and exit from "Real Housewives of Atlanta," she apparently wasn't pleased with the hosts.
Talking with Cohen on his show last Sunday, Leakes revealed how she was not treated kindly by the hosts who, according to her, were not well-mannered. "They just weren't kind. They did not have nice manners," Leakes said as quoted by People. "I know all of them are tired. their hairstyles are tired, their makeup is tired, you know, whatever."
While some would initially claim that it was "The View" host Joy Behar who was tough to talk to, for Leakes, there was another host who was awfully silent during the interview and thought that she was also mean towards her.
"Now, Joy definitely was throwing a lot of shade, but there was someone else on the panel that threw shade as well," Leakes told Cohen as quoted by the publication. Leakes then confirmed that it was Raven Symone who was "real nasty-like."
"Probably," Leakes said as she confirmed that it was Symone as quoted by ET. "[She was looking at me up and down] real nasty-like. And I didn't like that, because first of all, I was invited to their show. ... And they just weren't kind. They did not have nice manners."
Furthermore, Leakes, who stars in "Chicago" on Broadway, also revealed that the interview for "The View" was really live since she revealed that it was her first time to see the hosts when she came out from the dressing room for the show itself.
"I didn't see any of those ladies that's on the panel until I actually walked on the panel," Leakes told Cohen as quoted by US Weekly. "I felt like they were not kind to me. It's just, honestly, they weren't kind. It's not even 'felt,' they just weren't kind."
Leakes even previously broke her silence about her "The View" appearance on her social media. She posted "a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses" on Twitter, which was later deleted.
Meanwhile, there are still no comments from the ABC show regarding Leakes' statements against them.
